Transportation Crafts

If it rolls, flies, or floats you might find it in our transportation crafts category. This one of the top three requests we receive on our site. We thought we would share some of our favorites in today’s newsletter. Today we will make crafts to build, take to the skies, and sail the seven seas. Maybe even a couple more.

Match box-sized cars and trucks are always a big hit with little artists. Last year we discovered the road print duct tape. It is a great way to let your children design and make his or her own city. Hopefully this will keep them busy for hours.

Now that we have designed our roads let’s make some vehicles that might help build them. Up next we are making a dump truck. This project is full of moving pieces, rolling wheels and bed that moves. Let’s get rolling!

Dump Truck Craft

We are taking off in this next project. Your little artist will have fun making and flying his or her own air plane. They can have fun coloring and name their own airline. Let’s take off.

Air Plane Craft

We have made crafts for land, air and now by sea. Little artist love this craft. When complete it will rock back and forth just like a real ship on the sea.

Ship Craft

After our final project we will ‘stop’ crafting and ‘go’ on with our day. We are making our own traffic light. This project is great for sneaking in a little color recognition.
